This beautiful turquoise ring is handmade by Navajo silversmith Yvonne Shirley. Date of creation 1960's. Yvonne worked for the Brown's for many years, which gave her access to some of the top Morenci turquoise, which she then turned into beautiful pieces of jewelry for their Trading Post in Gallup. The stone is set in a smooth bezel housing, framed with fine twist wire on a heavy single shank. The natural Morenci turquoise stone has a beautiful mix of iron pyrite and orange colored matrix and measures 1" wide by 1 3/8" long diamond. The ring is a size 7. The actual top ring measurements (silver & stone) is 1 1/8" wide by 1 7/16" long. Can be resized 1 size larger.
