Description

Lee and Mary are best known for their beautiful cluster work, but also do nugget, channel inlay, and other forms of jewelry. One of the few traders Lee and Mary sold to during this time period, was Dude Kirk with whom this lovely pin was purchased from at the Navajo-Hopi Shop in Flagstaff, AZ. This outstanding pin is one example of their many talents. This pin measures 3 7/8" long by 3 3/4" wide. Set with Natural Morenci turquoise and deep red ox blood branch coral that is gem quality. This is an early piece and is not hallmarked, but provenance, style and design place this in the hands of Lee and Mary.
Their work is cited in most every major publication chronicling 20th century Zuni jewelers.
